2011 Lexus CT 200h To Launch In Malaysia For RM168K

The 2011 Lexus CT 200h hybrid, which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March of last year, will be arriving in Malaysia very soon, as Lexus Malaysia has uploaded the pricing and details of the Lexus full hybrid on its web site. You can now get into the Lexus club for RM 168,000 (OTR without insurance), while more luxury is available with the Luxury version priced at RM 196,500.

Hybrid power comes from the Toyota Prius' powertrain, which combines a 99 hp, 142 Nm 1.8-litre VVT-i engine to an 82 hp, 207 Nm electric motor powered by 168-cell Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) batteries. The total output of 136 hp, transmitted to the front wheels via a CVT, is enough to drive the CT 200h from rest to 100 km/h in 10.3 seconds and on to 180 km/h. Fuel economy is excellent at 24.4 km/litre.

In addition to four driving modes—Eco, EV, Normal and Sport, the standard CT 200h is offered with 16" alloy wheels, leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and 6-speaker audio system with CD-player, MP3/WMA compatibility and AUX/USB external inputs. Safety features include eight airbags, braking controls (ABS, EBD & BA), traction control and stability control.

The Luxury version adds on auto-leveling LED headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, performance dampers, smart entry function, 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat, reverse camera, Electro Multi Vision (EMV) screen, remote touch controller, Lexus Navigation System, Bluetooth connectivity, and 10-speaker audio system with 6-disc CD-changer and sub-woofer.
