2011 Kia Pro Cee'd Leaked Photos Reveal New Face

The Kia Pro Cee'd mid-life facelift version will wear Kia's corporate grille, restyled headlamps and a revised front bumper, according to leaked photos obtained by Kia World. The 1.6-litre turbodiesel engine will produce 130 hp and 255 Nm, Kia World also revealed, compared with the current output of 90 hp and 235 Nm. Confirmed official details will only be announced closer to the 2011 Geneva Motor Show in early March.

The five-door Cee'd and three-door Pro Cee'd hatchbacks are models designed specifically for European markets, while Asian and U.S. markets are catered for by the Kia Forte. Both based on the same platform as the Hyundai i30, the Cee'd and the Forte are touted as successors to the Kia Spectra. Such proximity in positioning means that the Cee'd is unlikely to be offered in Malaysia, however.
