2011 New Toyota Rush Launched In Malaysia
The 2011 Toyota Rush has arrived, bringing a host of exterior and interior cosmetic changes and some new features. With a RM 2K plus price increment across the board, the 1.5G manual sells for RM 88,190, the 1.5G automatic for RM 91,190, the 1.5S automatic for RM 96,990 (prices include insurance).
Outside, the refreshed Rush gets a new front bumper with revised fog lamp housings, side mirrors with turn indicator, a restyled protector plate and new-look tail lamps. Only the 1.5S variant comes with fog lamps, however.
Inside, a dark colour scheme leads the changes, which also include a new three-spoke steering wheel, a new gear knob design, factory-fitted solar film (reduces 99% UV, 40% IR), 50/50 split-foldable rearmost seats, and a 2-DIN audio system with MP3/WMA compatibility and USB connectivity.
The Rush's mechanicals are unchanged, meaning that the 3SZ-VE in-line four-cylinder engine unit with VVT-i remains in service. The 109 hp at 6000 rpm and 141 Nm at 4400 rpm go through either a four-speed automatic gearbox or a five-speed manual gearbox before reaching the front wheels.
