After General Motors decided against constructing a right-hand-drive (RHD) variant of the all new Chevrolet Camaro, many of us who rides down the left hand side of the traffic were left feeling very bitter of being deprived of owning our very personal bumble bee.
However, now it seems we could have something to look forward to as the fabulous looking Camaro will soon be available in right-hand drive versions thanks to Queensland company Performax International, Australia’s leading importer and converter of American built vehicles.
“We expect extremely strong demand for the Camaro in Australia. Since its launch in the United States recently it’s received nothing but great reviews for its performance, handling and design. It’s a fabulous car and we were lucky to get one so soon,” said Performax International General Manager Nicholas Vandenberg. “It will be competitively priced here and ready for registration with a seamless right-hand-drive conversion, full Australian Design Rule compliance and factory warranty.” Says Performax International General Manager Nicholas Vandenberg.
Good news to the hardcore Camaro fans here in Malaysia and Singapore, now that you know where to import your right-hand-drive Camaros and as for the rest of us, enjoy the gallery of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Transformers Special Edition below!
