2012 Jaguar XF Facelift Spy Shots

The 2012 Jaguar XF facelift has been caught on our spy camera. Introduced to the markets back in 2008, the XF will be due a mid-life facelift by early 2012, the time that this facelifted XF is expected to debut.
The comprehensive camouflage on the front and rear indicates where the changes lie. The new-look XF should come with a number of XJ-inspired styling changes, including a revised grille, reshaped headlamps and tail-lights plus modified front and rear bumpers.
Minor enhancements are also expected for the cabin. Underneath the bonnet, a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic gearbox and a 200-bhp 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine from the Ford/PSA family could be introduced as well. The existing engines will be reworked for more power and better efficiency.
The more significant development is the addition of an XF estate to the XF range at the same time as the launch of the facelifted XF sedan. While the XF estate has never been spied before, its impending arrival was reported as early as one year ago. Check out the rendered XF Estate.
