Chery Launched Two Models On A Row

Chery Alado has launched two models in a month: the locally assembled Tiggo SUV and A520 sedan. First off, Tiggo will now come with a 127bhp/180Nm 2.0-litre mated to a four-speed automatic, in addition to the already available 117bhp/147Nm 1.6-litre manual version; Both versions are priced at RM87,312.10 and RM76,624.50 respectively.

Next up is A520 described by Chery Alado as being “a sedan for the surefooted.” Taller, longer, and almost as wide as the class-leading Honda Civic, A520 should have reasonable interior room thanks to its 2600mm wheelbase. The 483-litre boot is generous, too. The 127bhp/180Nm 2.0-litre is paired to a four-speed automatic gearbox with manual override. The chassis has all independent suspension, with ventilated disc brakes on the front and disc brakes behind. The RM95,888 price tag includes features such as automatic climate control, steering wheel audio controls, projector headlamps with electronic leveling and dual airbags.
