The 2011 second-generation Nissan Murano crossover SUV has received an exterior makeover and interior changes. The facelifted Murano will debut in the U.S. in mid-October, although it remains to be seen if and when this new Murano will reach Malaysia.
The striking, distinctive exterior styling receives a facelift consisting of new-look 18-inch aluminium alloy wheels, a redesigned set of front grille and bumper, revised LED taillights and an extra exterior colour, Graphite Blue (shown on the Murano in the photos), to choose from.
The interior gets a new white backlight for the instrument panel, new centre console colours and additional equipments depending on trim levels (U.S.-specific), including driver's seat with power lumbar support, rear-view camera, 7-inch colour monitor, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, heated steering wheel, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity and 9-speaker BOSE audio system.
The only engine option, the 256 bhp, 336 Nm 3.5-litre VQ35DE engine is mated to Nissan's Xtronic CVT. Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control System (TCS) are standard features, with an option between front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive configurations.
