Lotus Evora S & Evora Auto Variants Heading For Paris Debut

Lotus has done it again, preferring to announce their Paris Motor Show entrants via a “leaked” email, which Lotus later requested the errant recipients to delete from their inboxes. Regardless of the mean of press release, Lotus has confirmed in the email that the Evora S and Evora Auto variants will be launched alongside “new car(s) not yet announced”, which could include the Esprit successor and two other new models.

The range-topping, hardcore version of the Evora, the Evora S will have a supercharger fitted to its Toyota-sourced 3.5-litre V6 engine, boosting the power output from 276 bhp to more than 350 bhp. The Evora Auto will feature a torque-converter automatic transmission. Both new Evora variants are expected to go on sale immediately after their Paris debut. Stay tuned.
