Citroen Grand C4 Picasso Gets New Engine, Six-Speed Gearbox & Price Drop

Brooklands Motors has updated the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso with a new set of engine and transmission, replacing the 141 bhp, 200 Nm 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated unit and four-speed automatic gearbox with a 148 bhp, 240 Nm 1.6-litre turbocharged unit, from the BMW/PSA Prince family, that is paired to a six-speed EGS (Electronic Gearbox System) gearbox, an automated manual unit which combines a manual transmission with electronically-controlled electro-hydraulic actuators.

The increase in power and gear ratios is made sweeter with an almost RM 10K drop in pricing to RM 158,740 on-the-road without insurance. The more competitive pricing will certainly better-position the Grand C4 Picasso against the favourite Japanese duo of Honda Stream and Toyota Wish.
