2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS Spy Photos

These are the spy photos of the latest 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS, which is set for introduction at the Paris Motor Show in September. With much of the CLS's success attributable to its unique, sleek coupe profile, the all-new CLS carries over a similar rakish roofline and striking creases along each side. Its front end is also reminiscent of the Mercedes-Benz Shooting Break Concept's.

Launched in 2005, the current-generation CLS was not only the first-ever four-door coupe for Mercedes-Benz; it was the first for the entire automotive industry, bringing on a wave of similar rivals. Since then, Porsche and Volkswagen have launched the Panamera and Passat CC, respectively. The Audi A7 will be coming soon in 2011 and the recently-introduced BMW Gran Coupe Concept previews BMW's own version of the CLS.
