Ferrari 458 Italia Launched In Malaysia For RM 2 Million

The 2011 all-new Ferrari 458 Italia, successor to Ferrari F430, has been launched in Malaysia for a massive two million ringgit. First introduced at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, the 458 Italia is Ferrari's answer to Lamborghini's Gallardo LP 560-4.
Filling in for the F430 would not be easy, but the 458 Italia has a 4.5-litre V8 and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission to call upon. With 562 bhp at 9000 rpm and 540 Nm at 6000 rpm ready for unleashing, the 458 Italia sprints from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and races on to over 325 km/h.
The 458 Italia comes with plenty of technology initially developed for Formula One, such as the F1-Trac skid control system and the use of one ECU to control the E-Diff differential. Other notable technologies include the “aeroelastic” winglets in the front grille designed to generate down-force at higher speeds, and the “prefill” braking system, which complements the standard Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes.
Naza Italia, the official distributor appointed by Ferrari and Maserati for Malaysia, has received 14 orders for Ferrari's latest supercar. However, be prepared to wait around one-and-a-half years if you join the waiting list now.
