Game-to-Life: GTbyCITROËN in the Streets of London

This may be a concept car but it is already strolling the Piccadilly street in London. GTbyCITROËN (no, this is no spelling mistake) is a concept car that started life as a collaboration between Citroen and the people behind Sony PlayStation's wildly popular Gran Turismo game franchise. And in an attempt to bring to real-life the gaming scenarios, the very low, long French supercar is seen driving through the Piccadilly street, which is part of a street circuit found in Gran Turismo.

Originally planned only for the 2008 Paris Motor Show, GTbyCITROËN has reportedly received enough interest for a limited production run—possibly only 15 examples will be made at a million euros each. The conceptual hydrogen electric drivetrain would however likely be dropped and be replaced by a rumbling V8. Details will be out in July confirming if the most radical of concept cars will be produced.
