Geneva Motor Show: 2011 Volvo S60

The most discussed and most eagerly anticipated car at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show has to be the 2011 all-new Volvo S60, the compact luxury sedan expected to form the bulk of Volvo's sales for the upcoming years.

Underpinned by a revised Ford Mondeo platform, S60 is billed as “the most dynamic car Volvo has ever presented”, one promising sharper handling and quicker steering. Customers can choose from two chassis variants, Dynamic and Comfort, and four engines, made up of two petrol and two diesel engines. More engines will be added to the range later on.

Volvo still represents the best of automotive safety, and S60 comes with the Collision Warning With Full Auto Brake And Pedestrian Detection system and the City Safety system, among a comprehensive list of safety equipments.
