Cadillac Brand Officially Back In Europe

After a one-year hiatus, General Motors has announced the return of Cadillac, its flagship luxury brand, to Europe via Cadillac Europe, a newly-formed company responsible for the import, distribution and marketing of selected Cadillac models.
The financial crisis which lasted from 2008 to 2009 brought about the collapse of the Kroymans Group, the European distributor of Cadillac, meaning that GM had to withdraw its luxury brand from more than half of its European markets.
With the economy rebounding strongly, GM has decided to return with a number of new models such as the CTS Coupe and Sedan as well as the CTS-V Coupe and Sedan, among others.
Cadillac has received praise from various non-American quarters, especially for the outstanding CTS-V; Cadillacs are now supposedly good enough to rival the Germans. So we would implore GM to set up an official presence in Malaysia too, giving us a taste of luxury and performance that is not German for once.
