2011 Kia Magentis To Make Debut In April

Kia has released the first official pictures of the 2011 Kia Magentis, the Korean automaker's flagship model also known as Kia Optima in Malaysia. Scheduled for introduction at the New York Auto Show in April, the all-new Magentis is longer, wider and lower than the current car on sale. Crucially, the wheelbase is longer, too, ensuring more cabin space for occupants.

Details on everything else are limited at the moment, but the new Magentis is expected to debut with styling cues that will trickle down the rest of Kia's model range. Sales will start in the later part of 2010 for the U.S. and Korean markets, but Europe will have to wait until early 2011. For now, these four sketches are as good as it gets...
