Lorinser Tries Their Hands on Lexus LS 460

German tuning firm Lorinser, better known for their work on Mercedes-Benz models and to a smaller extent on Smart cars, has decided to give Lexus LS 460 a makeover. Lorinser Lexus LS 460 wears an aerokit consisting of a squared-jaw front bumper, side skirts, a boot lid lip spoiler and a rear apron that incorporates a mini grille, air inlet and quad exhaust pipes. The handsome alloy wheels are custom made and weigh lighter than the standard ones.

Despite the aerokit, Lorinser's LS completes the century sprint in an unchanged 5.7 seconds. No surprise since the 4.6-litre V8 remains untouched, while the overall kerb weight counts almost the same as before. Performance aside, the new-look LS appears barely sportier, maybe because the standard LS is so stately to begin with. And considering LS's presumably more conservative buyers, it is hard to imagine Lorinser selling too many of those body kits.
