Porsche Produced 10,000 Panamera In 3 Months

Porsche is defying what economic crisis means, because the 10,000th Panamera has just rolled off the production lines of Porsche's Leipzig plant in Germany. There have been 9000 orders, even though Panamera has been on sale for a mere three months.

In case you are wondering why Porsche has often been called the world's most profitable automaker, know that of the Panameras sold thus far, most are higher-end models: The most expensive Turbo variant makes up 36 percent of all sales, while the mid-range 4S variant represents 44 percent, leaving the remaining 20 percent for the basic S variant.
