2011 Porsche Cayenne Spy Shots

Perhaps because there are not that many Porsche Cayenne on the roads, it comes as a little surprising that the Porsche SUV is in its seventh and final year of production. The photos shown, above and below, are of the next-generation Cayenne. From the thinly-disguised looks, the all-new Cayenne appears to be smaller, and a little nicer, thanks to the restyling of certain attributes, such as the headlights and tail lights, and an overall more rakish profile.
Sharing the same platform as Audi Q7 and Volkswagen Touareg, Cayenne will most likely use the 4.8-litre V8 from Porsche Panamera and the 4.8-litre twin-turbo V8 from the Panamera Turbo. Volkswagen's V6 TDI engine could be available as a diesel option, too.
You can expect the official launch of this Cayenne as a 2011 model at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, with sales starting around May 2010.
