It is a fact that while you are great with a controller in hand, playing your favourite racing game on Xbox and PlayStation, it does not necessarily mean that you are great as well on the track. But if you beg to differ, the video you are about to view is a firm reminder that, well, virtual reality does not match up to reality.
Mustang's “Unleashed” campaign had four excellent gamers racing in a game of Need for Speed SHIFT, before taking the action to a real track in a Ford Mustang. After a couple of virtual and real-life laps, the results showed that gaming and driving are not exactly correlated, although the winner of the game also won on the track, so maybe gaming does help a little.
