All-New 2013 Suzuki SX4 Crossover Appears at 2013 Geneva Motor Show
The show must go on. While Suzuki may have filed for bankruptcy in the U.S., the company maintains its strong presence in other markets with the launch of a new Suzuki model. Making its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the Japanese carmaker has unveiled its all-new 2013 Suzuki SX4 crossover.
At a glance, the Suzuki SX4 has subtle changes on the exterior, seeming more towards the 2012 S-Cross Concept. The bolder-looking 2013 SX4 features LED daytime running lights, two-part combo rear lights, refined shoulders and a new double sliding panoramic sunroof; which is “the largest opening area” to the car, and the first to be fitted for its segment.
Powering the Suzuki SX4 crossover is an option of 1.6-litre 4 cylinder diesel engine fitted with a six-speed manual transmission, or petrol engine geared with a five-speed manual transmission. The new crossover also features the CVT option (more likely for our Malaysian market) for the petrol engine which drives all wheels of the SX4, complete with Suzuki’s ALLGRIP technology.
The new Suzuki SX4 crossover measures at 4300mm in length, 1765mm wide and 1575mm tall, which is slightly larger compared to its predecessor. The new SX4 is measured to offer more passenger room, and more luggage capacity than before (up to 430 litres).
Suzuki has yet to announce prices for the new SX4, and only time will tell when the new crossover arrives in Malaysia.
