2013 Alfa Romeo 4C: Production Form Unveiled at Geneva Motor Show

Make way for another Italian debut. The 2013 Alfa Romeo 4C ‘Launch Edition’ just made its debut at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show—in its full production form, and limited to just 1,000 units.

As announced by Alfa Romeo, the Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition will be distributed worldwide, with 500 units going to the U.S., 400 units for the Europe, Africa and the Middle East markets, and 100 units made available for the rest of the world. Prices for the 4C Launch Edition start from €60,000 (RM243,278) in the European market, which varies according to region.

The Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition is powered by a 1.75-litre turbocharged mid-engine with an output of 240HP and a torque figure of 350Nm. A six-speed dual clutch transmission is fitted to drive the rear wheels of the sports coupe, which launches it from 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds and boasts a top speed exceeding 250km/h.

The Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition will be available in two colours, Carrara White or Alfa Red, and comes with standard features including the carbon aero-kit, dark aluminium rear diffuser, dark surround Bi-LED headlights, and 18-inch front and 19-inch rear alloy rims. Adding to the highlights of the car are its racing exhaust with BMC air filter, customised suspension setup, and special coloured brake calipers.
