2013 Ford Fiesta Wins ASEAN NCAP Frontal Collision Crash Test

The Malaysian Institute of Road Safety and Research (MIROS) announced that amongst a competition of eight cars, the Ford Fiesta 1.6-litre sedan managed to score the highest rating at the first ever ASEAN NCAP (ASEAN New Car Assessment Programme) front collision test.
The tests were conducted between November 2012 and January 2013, and included eight models: the Honda City, Toyota Vios, Perodua Myvi, Proton Saga FLX, Hyundai i10, Nissan March, and the Ford Fiesta sedan.
The Ford Fiesta beat out its closest rival – the Honda City, by just 0.29 points out of 16 (Fiesta: 15.73, City: 15.44).
