2012 All-New Lexus GS Now Available For Booking!

UMW Toyota Motor has announced that the all-new Lexus GS is now open for booking through its subsidiary Lexus Malaysia. The GS is available in five variants: the GS 250 priced at RM 379,873, the GS 250 Luxury at RM 415,783, the GS 350 Luxury at RM 482,423, the GS 250 F-Sport at RM 426,043 and the GS 350 F-Sport at RM 492,683 (Listed prices are OTR with insurance).

The GS 250 Luxury and the GS 350 Luxury can be specified in one of six colours: Fire Agate Mica Metallic, Meteor Blue Mica Metallic, White Pearl Crystal Shine, Sonic Silver, Mercury Gray Mica and Starlight Blake Glass Flake. The GS 250 only has the last four colours as options. Inside, the GS 250's Zenith Black trim can be matched to an interior in black, Ivory or light gray. The Luxury version offers two trims: Walnut—which is contrasted by an Ivory or Topaz brown interior—or Ebony in a black interior.

The GS 250 is powered by a 2.5-litre V6 with 209 HP and 253 Nm, which give the Lexus a century sprint time of 8.6 seconds when a six-speed automatic transmission is used. The GS 350 draws 310 HP and 376 Nm from a 3.5-litre V6, which is paired to the same six-speed transmission. That powertrain drives the GS 350 from rest to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds. The F-Sport versions do not upgrade the engines, but equip the standard GS with an adaptive sports variable suspension, more powerful brakes, an integrated four-wheel steering system, and more aggressive exterior and interior styling.
