2012 Proton Exora Turbocharged Version Spy Photos

The 2012 Proton Exora could be a far better proposition with the launch of the Exora turbocharged version, the spy photos of which have been leaked to Kizz Kazz. The 1.6-litre turbocharged Campro engine is rumoured to produce 138 horses and 205 Nm of torque. The five-speed manual gearbox should remain in use, with a CVT replacing the current four-speed automatic gearbox.

Proton has announced the impending arrival of two new Exora variants: the Exora Bold and the Exora Prime. The spy photo shows a facelifted front end that, if nothing else, looks clearly differentiated from the current front fascia. The interior spy photos are of the range-topping Exora Prime, whose ambience, Proton must have believed, could be lifted by the faux-wood trim on the centre console and air-con vent surrounds.
