2011 Suzuki Swift Facelift Launched In Malaysia

Suzuki Malaysia Automobile has launched the 2011 Suzuki Swift—not the all-new, third-generation Suzuki Swift many Malaysians are looking forward to—but a facelifted version of the current second-generation Swift, which has been well-received with more than 19,000 units sold since introduction in Malaysia.

There are no powertrain changes as expected, but the 2011 Suzuki Swift does come with a new front bumper grille with silver-coloured fog lamp housing, a new rear bumper with honeycomb grille, revised rear combination lamps, a stylish rear spoiler, sporty side skirting, a new engine cover, as well as auto-retractable side mirrors with signal indicator.

The two variants have been renamed and each receives a price increment of not more than two thousand ringgit. The Swift 1.5 GLX is priced at RM 75,788 (OTR with insurance), and the Swift 1.5 GXS at RM 81,888—the extra money buying you leather upholstery, V-Kool tint and Threebond Ultra Glass Coating Neo treatment.
