McLaren MP4-12C Revealed From The Inside

To keep public interest high, McLaren has launched a new web site that reveals the inner workings of the new MP4-12C supercar, which is not due for another year. Using computer generation, MP4-12C is laid entirely bare, showing all components big and small. There are also brief descriptions of the design, dynamics, performance and weight-saving aspects of the supercar.
MP4-12C is powered by an in house-designed 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 599 bhp and 600 Nm of torque, with almost 80 percent of that pulling power usable from below 2000 rpm. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that offers a number of driving modes, along with F1-inspired paddle shifts.
A carbon monocoque shell ensures that MP4-12C will be extremely strong, rigid yet light. In place of anti-roll bars, the suspension makes use of hydraulically interconnected dampers to keep body movements to a minimum. The weight distribution is ideal at 43:57 front and rear.
More details would be released nearer to the launch next year. As for the price, well, expect something around RM 750,000... without all the duties that would push MP4-12C to the RM 2 million mark at the very least.
