2011 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Launched In Malaysia

The 2011 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS (Gran Turismo Sport) has been launched in Malaysia for RM 900K without registration costs and insurance. Available as both coupe and convertible, the 911 Carrera GTS is visually differentiated from the rest of the Carrera family by a set of 19" RS Spyder wheels, SportDesign front/rear aprons and unique sideskirts, and Carrera GTS logos on the doors and rear lid.

The 911 Carrera GTS is 44 mm wider than the current Carrera 4 AWD, but only delivers generated power to the rear wheels. Mated to Porsche's seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, the 3.8-litre direct-injected, flat-six-cylinder engine churns out 408 hp at 7300 rpm and 420 Nm between 4200–5600 rpm. Performance is brisk: 0–100 km/h comes up in 4.6 seconds, 0–200 km/h in 14.8 seconds, and top speed stands at 306 km/h.
