2011 Honda Accord Facelift Launched In Malaysia—Pricing Unchanged
Honda Malaysia has launched the 2011 Honda Accord, a mid-life facelift version of the D-segment sedan that brings minor styling updates, extra features and a new colour. Prices are, surprisingly, unchanged: 2.0 VTi at RM 142,800, 2.0 VTi-L at RM 149,800 and 2.4 VTi-L at RM 172,800 (prices are OTR with insurance).
The exterior changes include a new chrome front grille, a revised front bumper, and new chrome trim on the bootlid. New-look 17-inch alloy wheels are introduced for the 2.4 VTi-L only. Front corner sensors are now standard across the range, as is a new jack-knife ignition key.
Inside, the 2.0 VTi and VTi-L both get a leather steering wheel, with a leather gear knob added in for the base 2.0 VTi. Available in all variants are thicker floor mats, which, Honda claims, enhance the Accord's cabin refinement, an area that could be improved upon.
The existing four colours—Taffeta White, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Polished Metal Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl—are now joined by a new Celestial Blue Metallic colour.
