The 2011 Toyota Camry has gained an additional optional package: a 6.1" touch-screen, Bluetooth-enabled DVD-AVN (Audio-Visual Navigation) system that serves as an entertainment hub and a navigation tool for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei; a reverse camera is included in the optional package as well. The asking price is RM 4500.
The other optional features that have been available all along are the RM 2400 Toyota Premium solar film, which claims to significantly deflect infra-red and reduce heat build-up in the cabin; and the RM 2650 Aerokit package, which brings a front bumper spoiler, trunk lid spoiler, side skirting and rear bumper spoiler.
Keep in mind that UMW Toyota Motor will start rolling out the next-generation Camry in 2012 via Assembly Services Sdn Bhd, its manufacturing facility in Shah Alam. For now, Toyota's locally-assembled lineup consists of the Avanza, Vios, Hilux, Fortuner and Innova.
